We land on Mars

Basically, NASA sent a robot rover thing on Mars and it has landed. They're planning to dig for evidence of water on Mars. I think it would be pretty cool if they did find something. Imagine that, what could've went on there. There might've even been a whole 'nother race or species living there at a time. Here's a pic of the rover robot with some specs on it. Here's a link for more info. http://www.nytimes.com/2008/05/27/science/space/27mars.html?_r=1&hp&oref=slogin

The Good and the Bad in History

The Good leaders:Bruce Lee,President Grant,Master Chief, "Dimebag/Diamond" Darrell of Pantera, Damageplan, and Rebel Meets Rebel, and finally, Tony Montana.
Bruce Lee was just an awesome person all around, and he taught his knowledge to many. Besides, he had a huge amount of fans who would support him anywhere and at anytime. President Grant was a good president. Master Chief, went up against the covenenant and flood for all 3 Halo games and still managed to defeat them all with the human army and part of the rebellion covenenant forces behind him. Dimebag Darrell of Pantera, Damageplan, and Rebel Meets Rebel was a great guy whom all that met him have kept fond memories of him, and so many people try and still are to walk in his shoes, take his path. Tony Montana offered oppurtunities to many people, and as long as you didn't betray him, he wouldn't betray you.
The bad: Fidel Castro, Bush of 2000-2008, Benedict Arnold, Hitler, and Nero.

Cellphone Novels

That is just amazing that people could write literature of this level using just cell phones now. That must hurt the thumbs for a while haha. I just wonder now, how long it takes them to write these things, and where do they find the time. Must take them weeks just to get the rough copy down. I wonder what'll be next, magnificent works of art on the cell phones or maybe creating/sampling/mixing music on cellphones.

Yahoo

I believe the future plan for Yahoo is to make it a stronger communication system. The future of Yahoo will be able to give higher priority to messages between people that closely related. The future of Yahoo also will be able to do other things such as help organize dinner for a group of people or maybe help organize other events. I think it's a pretty good idea, but I think it will only be popular with adults more than kids and teens and probably won't be really successful. Nowadays, almost everybody uses facebook, from kids to adults, and it has become a really powerful major online organization. Personally, I think it won't be as successful as Facebook.

Facebook has all these different add-ons that make it fun to explore around facebook, as well as the whole email thing. Being that Yahoo probably doesn't have or intend to include such small add-ons might not attract those of the younger audience and make Yahoo seem just another regular boring email place. Also, compared to Microsoft and Google, Yahoo will probably gain little from this advancement. Microsoft makes a whole lot of things from internet things to video games to computers and more. Nowing how most people are in modern times, with video gaming being one of the major things going on, they'll still have a lot of success for the near future to come. Also, almost everybody uses google for searching on the web so Yahoo will probably won't be as or more successful than Google. The idea sounds great and all but it just might not be that successful.

Place for Creativity response

It's odd the places which inspire me for things. Most places that do inspire me, do so in a musical way such as giving me new ideas for a song or for a theme or even to try to change my tone. Most of these places are eerie places such as cemetaries, or in the woods at night. I also get inspiration believe or not from places such as churches or any sacred place like that. Another thing that really helps with the creative flow would be my latest guitar, a Dean ML. Just looking at it makes me want to just get up and start jammin' along to something or try to create something, whether it be a song, or a riff or lick or just some random improv.

Frustration to Learning...

As I read this post, several "ahah" moments of just practicing guitar popped up into my mind. Most of them were just moments were I found out how to do a certain guitar technique or how to change the tone on my amp to get a sound similar to what I was, or still am, searching for. I remember playing my guitar one day wondering, how can I get a bit more grittier sound to the sound I have now? The answer was so simple to come to, but of course it took me some time to figure it out. All I had to do was use my ears to carefully listen to my current sound and modify it from there. It was much easier to find out the sound closest to what I was looking for there. Some of those moments can really open up doors to other things in some situations.
